About Laoshi Paul
Laoshi Paul began learning Kung Fu in 2013 when Kung Fu For Christ first began. He taught for many years in KFFC but stepped back to support his young family. He is blessed to still be part of the club training with the instructors and looks forward to teaching again when his kids are old enough to attend.
Laoshi Paul attends the Kitchener Salvation Army church. He is the conductor of the band there and been leading for about 8 years. He has been playing cornet (like a trumpet but better haha) for 30 years. He also enjoys writing and arranging music for the band.
One of his favourite verses is 1 Corinthians 11:1 that says, "follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ." It is engraved on his conductor baton and he likes to apply it when teaching Kung Fu. Hopefully others can see Christ through the leadership and interactions with Laoshi Paul.
