Mondays: Youth Leadership Class

We believe in the importance of developing youth leaders. This involves helping students grow in their faith and learning how to live it out through practicing Godly leadership.  We believe that Christian leadership skills (e.g., servitude) will be relevant in everyday life (e.g., in their future career). We offer a place where youth can learn and practice these skills while being mentored.

Leadership development class

Our leadership development class includes a formal leadership curriculum.
This course has several portions:

• additional martial arts training: to advance in martial arts.
• skills development: the skills necessary for teaching martial arts (e.g., public speaking).
• Godly leadership: lessons on how to engage in Godly leadership like servitude.

CLASSES ARE ONGOING (THERE IS NO SET TERM) AND RUN CONTINUOUSLY ALL YEAR

Eligibility

Our leadership class is designed for a small group of between six and ten youth between the ages of 10 and 18. ​Enrolment is limited: Youth must have already received kung-fu training with Kung-Fu for Christ, and have shown an interest in leadership.

Impact

As a result of our leadership course, youth have gone on to:

• teach at Kung-Fu for Christ,
• volunteer for important leadership roles in their schools,
• volunteer in their communities, and
• ​use their skills in their universities and workplaces.
